SY 20010-11 DCHS Forum Project
To All Forum Members,
The deliberation on the continuity of our DCHS project for the forthcoming enrollment (SY- 2009-10) is now open for discussion. Specifically we want to tackle the following:
1.Review of our objectives
a) Appropriation of beneficiary’s fund
b) Number of Scholars to be considered for SY-2009-10
c) Fund raising (Cash projection)
2.Review of beneficiaries performance
a)Individual performance review
b)Replacement candidate for those who’ll fail to meet the average grade required
3.Participation of our beneficiaries in the forum through individual letters, to be posted periodically. Forum will shoulder the cost of postage (to encourage them to share their views ...etc.)
4.Others

Please share,add your views regarding the continuation of our project for SY 2009-10 whenever you have time so we can send our letter of confirmation before SY 2008-09 ends!

hi chairman and fellow diatagonians,
i'll just quote the chairman's list of subjects to be discussed and share my inputs from there.
1.Review of our objectives
a) Appropriation of beneficiary’s fund
as requested by our students for additional financial assistance,we have granted their request of 25% more on top of the 50% that we initially covered,for those who could meet the 82.5% grade that we set..since we don't have their grades as of yet for reference,my suggestion is that we'll just anticipate anything like 10 of them will make the cut to avail of the 75% miscellaneous financial assistance.the last 5 will still avail the 50%.
b) Number of Scholars to be considered for SY-2009-10
if i have my way,i'd like all these 15 kids still in our program by next schoolyear.this will depend on their academic performance this year,and let me be clear that per my feedback from diatagon,students who are in the honor roll only have 85% grade(???)....so,given that we are supporting kids who's families are financially challenged,can we get some adjustments here?their efforts to make the grade will reflect on their report cards at the end of the year and i personally appeal that we all look into these and re-evaluate our options and requirements.if it's just a point or two off of the percentage points that we required,let's discuss how we'll tackle this.

this was the plan before,and the chairman gave me this task together with benneth ladion-mercado.but due to ng al's recent trip to diatagon,this was put on hold.now that the situation was already surveyed and seen by ng al for herself,i guess that it is imperative to correspond with our students starting next schoolyear,or,the earlier,the better.we have learned that they were not properly informed of our requirements for them and they didn't even know that we are the group who are behind this project,so,it is mandatory for us to communicate with them..as they progress in higher years,so are our responsibilities to these kids.never underestimate them.who knows,they might be our future forum members.
4.Others
ng al mentioned of these kids performing their extra-curricular activities wearing the www.diatagon.com forum name.i'm amenable to her suggestion.

Thanks again for being so gracious! I'll ask our representives on how to send school supplies and books to our countrpart and please feel free to ask some of our members and admins if you have further queries. Liza , Fritz, Jun and Sammy are our administrators. Liza and Jun have direct contact with DCHS staffs, you may if you like, directly get in touch with them through PM or post, they are always more than willing to work with you. I f you don't mind my asking what are the specifics on the book and reading materials we are planning to donate ?
